7月27日，溫氏集團總公司副總經理鄒先華、永州分公司總經理朱偉雄一行到祁陽縣三口塘鎮考察項目建設，并就建立祁陽縣分公司、種豬場用地選址和布局進行了深入調研。
溫氏集團創立于1983年，由七戶農民集資8000元起步，現已發展成一家以畜禽養殖為主跨地區發展的現代大型畜牧企業集團。目前，溫氏集團已在全國23個省(市、自治區)建成170多家一體化公司，集團現有合作家庭農場5.28萬戶，員工約4萬人。2014年，溫氏集團上市肉豬1218萬頭、肉雞6.97億只、肉鴨1699萬只，實現銷售收入380億元。
考察團一行深入三口塘鎮絲塘村，就溫氏集團祁陽分公司建設、種豬場基地建設、配套設施建設用地等事項進行了實地考察，詳實了解了絲塘村的區域優勢和縣、鎮招商引資的有關政策。通過調研，溫氏集團代表對三口塘鎮絲塘村的投資環境十分滿意，擬在絲塘村建立祁陽分公司及占地面積1000畝的種豬場，項目總投資2.5億元，項目建成后，可容納種豬4000余頭，年出欄豬仔10萬余頭。
